My friends, it is the beginning of May which means Toledo Pride is only a few months away. With such a big, fun, and important event I’d like to start our planning on it sooner rather than later. I have spoken to many people who have been involved in Pride past, and it is for that reason I think we can make this our biggest one yet. For being here such a short time, I am constantly amazed at people’s abilities and wants to show up and help their fellow siblings in Christ in various ways.
With that in mind, PLEASE email me ASAP if you are interested in the following:
– Pride Planning Committee
– Being a member of the hospitality team @ 316
– Booth representative at Promenade Park
– Wanting to march in the parade or be involved somehow
This is going to be a huge undertaking this year, because we are going to, in no uncertain terms, CRUSH IT FOR THE LORD. If there is anyone who is interested in co-chairing/walking along side me as we plan this, please let me know. I’ll provide a follow up date coming soon for our first Pride Committee Meeting once I start to hear from you all.
I am so, so honored to be at a church where this is such a big part of our identity.
