Hello, Trinity!
Choir is one of our many beloved communities at Trinity Episcopal Church. Filled with members who volunteer their time, hearts and energy, we work together to create music celebratory of the divine love we share in our lives.
Last week, there was an announcement made concerning the choir coming back in person this fall on October 3rd to Trinity in-person services. After serious consideration, we have decided to wait to bring the full choir back to services. With the rise of the Delta variant, the Toledo-Lucas County transmission rate according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the reality of higher aerosol emissions during singing, we believe it is the right and socially responsible decision for this time. To this point, the choir will stay online through October 17th, at which time we will reassess our situation.
Be assured that Zoom Choir will continue to be our safe haven for community connection and singing. Know we are continuously working toward a time when we return singing joyously in-person. Until then, we will continue to make the best decisions possible for our whole group; the kind we will look back on with pride as a musical family.
In case you’ve been thinking about choir, wishing you could, or maybe a twitch of fear is guarding your heart from singing, please consider this moment a personal invitation from me. Come sing. We would love to have you.
With the utmost sincerity and love,
Chelsie and the Music Team
