LEARNING TO BE: Finding Your Center When the Bottom Falls Out

A 7-session Film and Book Study, Wednesdays 6:30-8:00

November 30 – through January 18, 6:30-8:00pm via Zoom

In Learning to Be, pastor and author, Juanita Rasmus opens up about the depression that brought her busy ministry and home life to rock bottom and into her own “dark night of the soul.” And then from that darkest of places she shares how she moved out again into living a life from a place of more intentional, vulnerable and authentic truth. In short, she learned what it took to move into a life lived from the inside out, instead of the outside in. Each chapter includes life-giving spiritual practices to help each of us discover our own new ways of being as well.

Join us on Wednesday evenings to watch a short video of Pastor Juanita sharing the story she writes about in her book, Learning to Be and then spend time together honoring our own stories and learning what God is calling us to notice in our lives. During this season of Advent we are called to prepare a place for love to dwell. This invitation is offered for those who yearn for sacred space to listen to the deepest places of our hearts wondering together what might be ready and waiting to be born in love. All are welcome and wanted.
