The new TARTA Transit Hub, located at 612 N. Huron , operating as full-service transit destination, opened August 12th.
The integration of the TARTA Transit Hub will eliminate the antiquated “Loop” that currently surrounds 12 blocks of downtown Toledo. The project is associated with the conversion of Huron Street to two-way traffic and will allow TARTA to improve bus operations, transit connectivity and access to downtown Toledo. In addition to the bus routing improvements, the project will also include streetscape and connectivity upgrades that will benefit pedestrians and bicyclists through exterior benches and shelters. The Park Station and Loop properties, currently owned by TARTA, will be vacated and available for other uses.
For passengers, it means subtle route changes and new lineups along Cherry street and Huron. Find your route/schedule here.Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority
